Eudorellopsis deformis

Description
Pseudorostral lobes with a sharp process on the dorsal side behind the efferent orifice, front steeply truncate and serrated throughout in female with broad flattened teeth, less so in adult male. In the female the anterolateral corner is prominent and the lower margin is serrated for some distance back.
Antenna 1 bent between the first and second segments. Peduncle of the uropod much shorter than the exopod, which is much longer than the endopod; the distal segment of the endopod is not more than a third as long as the proximal segment, excluding its small terminal spines.

Length up to 5 mm.

Ecology
Sandy bottoms mainly in shallow waters.

Depth range
Down to about 15 to 270 m.

Distribution in the North Sea
Northern and southern North Sea, Skagerrak.

World distribution
Boreal species, recorded from Norway southwards to the Irish Sea and from Greenland to Long Island in the Atlantic; also from the Japan and Okhotsk Seas in the Pacific.
